The Daily Flavor

Grateful to have had the opportunity to have lunch with one of NC’s Culinary legends. You can’t speak on NC gastronomy without referencing #crookscorner and #BillSmith. Thanks @chulegre for all the flavor you’ve added to NC.
Cornbread #avocadotoast ,poached egg, smoked ham and refried beans... it’s what’s for breakfast.
In the restaurant world this is the symbol of a successful service. Super excited for @benchwarmersbagels in @transfercofoodhall the bagels are all that and then some!!#stacksonstacksonstacks
Two new pieces from the kiln. Wanted to try to match some of the browns and blacks in our new kitchen. #handmade #pottery #wheelthrown #commonrootsclayworks #earthenware
Toying with some new ideas- 1) Crispy squid ink rice with edamame, tomato chutney and enoki mushrooms. 2) Jerk mahi with pineapple salsa & curry-cauliflower custard.
It’s that time of year again when the #persimmons are poppin’! How do you like them?
